Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Cardiology Critical Care Unit (CCU) team at The University of Vermont Medical Center. As a Cardiology Nurse, you will care for a diverse patient population with various heart-related conditions in our 32-bed progressive-care CCU. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a Level I Tertiary care hospital, utilizing state-of-the-art technology to provide exceptional patient and family-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
- Treat and monitor patients with structural heart issues, coronary stents, arrhythmia, congestive heart failure, pulmonary hypertension, and heart attacks.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Implement and follow care plans to optimize patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of Vermont.
- Prior experience in cardiology or critical care nursing preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
