We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Senior Merchandise Handler to join our team at Slumberland Furniture. As a Senior Merchandise Handler, you will play a crucial role in the movement and organization of our products, ensuring efficient operations and superior customer service.

Responsibilities

• Move and organize merchandise within the warehouse to optimize space.
• Handle incoming and outgoing merchandise, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Utilize the point of sale system for efficient inventory management.
• Provide training to other team members and lead by example.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
• Assist with customer service interactions and inventory management.
• Contribute to the overall efficiency and success of the warehouse operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; basic math skills required.
• Knowledge of tools, hardware components, and product assembly.
• Valid driver's license and basic computer knowledge.
• Prior experience with a point of sale system is desirable.
