Job Description

We are hiring a Site Director for our Job Corps Center. The Site Director will be responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing student programs and activities to meet the objectives of the center's operation. This role involves ensuring the center's goals are met, maintaining data integrity, fostering community relationships, and managing departmental budgets.

Responsibilities

• Administer assigned components of the Job Corps Center.
• Maintain center goals and objectives, including Career Transition goals.
• Communicate National Job Corps Office Visions and Goals to staff.
• Maintain Data Integrity in reporting center statistics.
• Build relationships with community leaders and employers.
• Keep abreast of student, staff, and safety matters.
• Conduct staff meetings and training sessions.
• Manage departmental budgets and prepare necessary reports.
• Ensure safe operation of center functions and student safety.
• Conduct staff evaluations and interviews for vacancies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree plus three years' experience in program management.
• Experience working with youth and in a residential setting.
• Knowledge of working with young adults in education and training.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to relate effectively with students and staff.
• Physical requirements include sitting, seeing, hearing, and speaking frequently.
