Server - Full time and part time positions available

Job Description

The Server is the key Associate in delivering the Silver Diner brand to our guests. You are responsible for providing Silver Diner hospitality to our guests, generating sales, delivering food & beverage orders and properly handling POS functions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every guest receives outstanding service, including greeting within 30 seconds of being seated.
• Suggestively sell to every guest and accurately take and place orders.
• Ring orders into POS immediately and handle payment promptly.
• Maintain knowledge of all food & beverage specs and ensure a clean, well-stocked station.
• Work as part of a team, communicate clearly, and perform all assigned tasks efficiently.

Brand Delivery

• Be punctual, maintain a positive attitude, and adhere to company standards and procedures.
• Follow SMG scoring standards for service speed and order accuracy.

Cost Balancing

• Account for all sales and handle cash accurately.
• Portion all self-service items correctly to maintain cost efficiency.

Performance Measures

• Achieve positive sales growth and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Develop strong relationships with guests and deliver exceptional service.

Requirements

• 1-2 years experience as a Server or Bartender preferred.
• Exceptional guest service skills, excellent communication, and ability to multitask.
• Physically fit to handle a fast-paced environment and comply with industry regulations.

Physical Requirements

Ability to work in a demanding physical environment with standing, lifting, and fast-paced activities. Must meet legal requirements for serving alcohol.
