Job Description
We are looking for a passionate Music Teacher to join our team and inspire participants on their musical journey. As a Music Teacher, you will provide personalized instruction, develop instrumental techniques, enhance performance abilities, and guide individuals in advanced musical skills such as notation, auditioning, and improvisation. Collaboration and assessment will be key to ensuring progress and success throughout the instructional period.
Responsibilities
- Provide personalized 1:1 instruction tailored to individual skill levels and musical goals.
- Develop participants' instrumental technique(s) emphasizing proficiency and musicality.
- Cultivate performance abilities for solo and ensemble showcases.
- Instruct in advanced skills including music notation, audition preparation, and improvisation.
- Prepare participants for showcases and conduct periodic assessments.
Qualifications
- Strong background in music education and performance.
- Proficiency in one or more musical instruments.
- Exceptional teaching, communication, and motivation skills.
- Knowledge of music theory, notation, and performance preparation.
- Creativity and flexibility in teaching methods.
- Access to musical instruments is a plus.
