Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated RN Navigator with a focus on Bone Marrow Transplant in the Benign Hematology department at MUSC Hollings Cancer Center. As a registered nurse, you will play a crucial role in assisting patients and caregivers, navigating them through the healthcare system, and ensuring they receive timely and quality care.

Responsibilities

• Perform timely clinical reviews of new patient referrals and facilitate appointment scheduling.
• Coordinate transitions of care between different healthcare services.
• Educate patients and identify opportunities for additional support.
• Engage in communication between multidisciplinary providers for comprehensive care planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing and a minimum of two years of clinical nursing experience.
• Master's or Doctorate in Nursing is a plus.
• Excellent communication, mentoring, and organizational skills.
• Current registered nurse licensure in South Carolina or compact state.
• Basic Life Support certification.
