Job Description
JBI Helicopter Services, located in Abbeville, LA, is currently hiring an experienced Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic for a full-time year-round position. In addition to maintenance duties, the selected candidate will provide ground support for various company operations and occasional travel assignments. We are looking for a motivated, safety-conscious individual who is adaptable and customer-focused.
Responsibilities
- Perform aircraft maintenance and document work accurately.
- Conduct flight line tasks, including track and balance responsibilities.
- Ensure aircraft cleanliness and flight readiness.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and efficient working environment.
Requirements
- Hold a valid Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic License.
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Minimum 3 years of helicopter maintenance experience.
- Ability to lift 70lbs, perform physical tasks, and have own tools.
- Willingness to relocate within a 1-hour commute of Abbeville, LA.
Preferred Qualifications
- IA experience.
- Sheet Metal and Avionics experience.
- Familiarity with Bell Helicopter products.
- Factory training and CDL a plus.
