Job Description
FirstHealth of the Carolinas is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Psychiatric Nursing team at the Firsthealth Regional Hospital. As a key member of our 28-bed unit specializing in mental health and substance abuse care, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient-centered services.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver quality mental health care services.
- Work with patients, families, and community resources to support recovery and positive outcomes.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with medical standards and protocols.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
Requirements
- Active NC RN License or Compact State RN License.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Med/Surg or Behavioral Services is preferred.
- BCLS certification is required.
- Commitment to obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree within five years of employment.
