Primary Objective & Scope of Position

This position involves handling merchandise by storing, moving, and distributing products efficiently. As a Merchandise Handler, you will lead by example, provide training to other employees, and contribute to maintaining a seamless merchandise flow.

Responsibilities

• Move and organize merchandise to optimize space.
• Handle merchandise for display, storage, delivery, or shipment.
• Utilize the point of sale (POS) system for inventory management.
• Ensure accuracy in customer orders and system records.
• Receive incoming merchandise and prepare outgoing items with care.
• Provide training to team members.
• Communicate professionally with customers, colleagues, and vendors.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Follow safety protocols to prevent damage and maintain a safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (or in progress).
• Basic math skills and knowledge of tools and hardware.
• Valid driver's license and basic computer skills.
• Experience with POS systems is a plus.
