Manufacturing Supervisor

Job Description

Join our team at Select Industries Corp as a Manufacturing Supervisor. In this role, you will oversee production operations, ensure maximum quality and efficiency, and optimize manufacturing processes. This is a leadership position that requires strong organizational skills, the ability to analyze complex operations, and optimize daily activities while minimizing costs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise department plans and work schedules to maximize employee, equipment, and material utilization.
• Assist in meeting production rates, schedules, quality, quantity, and safety requirements.
• Train and develop associates, ensuring performance expectations are met.
• Review data for causes of scrap and implement corrective actions.
• Work with leadmen to improve output and efficiency of jobs.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed and address issues promptly.
• Plan and schedule equipment maintenance.
• Conduct performance evaluations and recommend personnel actions.
• Communicate goals, plans, and results to associates.
• Direct associates to meet schedules and quality standards.
• Work with management to achieve company goals and standards.
• Follow IATF16949 Standards and ensure proper PPE usage.
• Perform other job duties as necessary.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience supervising employees.
• 3-5 years of manufacturing or leadership experience in metal stamping preferred.
• Knowledge of Stamping, Dies, Presses, and experience in the automotive industry are advantageous.
• Strong leadership skills and team-building abilities.

Physical Demands

• Standing, walking, pushing, pulling, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds may be required.
• Eye-hand coordination and tolerance to high noise levels.
