Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team at Freeman Webb Company. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the overall upkeep and repairs of our physical plant under the guidance of the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager. This role involves a wide range of maintenance tasks to ensure the comfort and safety of our residents.

Responsibilities

• Participate in various maintenance projects.
• Perform electrical and plumbing repairs.
• Replace and repair various items including glass, tile, carpet, fixtures, and appliances.
• Painting of interior and exterior surfaces.
• Assist in custodial work and grounds maintenance.
• Conduct repairs on concrete, masonry, roofing, and fencing.
• Ensure equipment maintenance as per manufacturer recommendations.
• Inspect units, buildings, and common areas for maintenance needs.
• Maintain stock of supplies and organize storage areas.
• Follow safety protocols and assist in various tasks as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions.
• Valid driver's license with insurability.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects.
