Lead Grocery Store Designer

Job Description

We are looking for a Lead Grocery Store Designer to join our team at Associated Wholesale Grocers. As the Lead Grocery Store Designer, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and construction coordination for grocery store development projects in the Greater Chicago Area. You will work closely with member retailers, architects, engineers, and vendors to ensure the successful execution of projects.

Responsibilities

• Design floor plans and advise members on store development and equipment needs.
• Coordinate construction and equipment installation.
• Supervise building construction and review construction documents.
• Visit retail locations and manage project budgets.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the retail grocery industry and CAD software.
• Experience in construction management and making presentations.
• Ability to pay attention to detail and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• 2-5 years of experience in grocery store design and/or construction field.
