Hydrogeologist (Early Career)

Job Description

We are looking for a talented Hydrogeologist (Early Career) to join our team at Montgomery & Associates in California. As a full-time early-career hydrogeologist, you will support projects related to groundwater management, hydrogeology, and groundwater modeling under the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act.

Responsibilities

• Contribute technically to projects focusing on quantitative hydrogeology and groundwater resources management.
• Interpret hydrologic data, develop water budgets, and evaluate hydrogeologic data gaps.
• Work with teams to support predictive modeling, develop hydrogeologic conceptual models, and prepare technical reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in hydrology, geology, or engineering; graduate degree preferred.
• Up to 4 years of experience in environmental and water resources consulting preferred.
• Strong organizational skills, technical writing abilities, and proficiency in GIS and analytical tools.
• Ability to work in teams, meet deadlines, and occasionally perform fieldwork.
