Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Home Delivery Driver to join our team at Slumberland Furniture. As a vital member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient delivery and setup of merchandise to our customers, providing a positive and exceptional experience.
Responsibilities
- Deliver merchandise in a safe and efficient manner.
- Establish customer greetings, conduct pre-inspections, set up merchandise, and verify delivery accuracy.
- Perform daily vehicle maintenance to ensure professional and organized deliveries.
- Maintain and operate vehicles and equipment safely to prevent injury or damage.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine love for meeting new people.
- Ability to work independently, provide direction, and maintain accurate records.
- Flexibility to work day-shift schedules in a fast-paced environment.
- Pass DOT requirements, criminal background check, and drug screening.
