Job Description
We are hiring a Home Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team at Slumberland Furniture. As a valued member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for ensuring safe and efficient delivery and set-up of merchandise for our customers, providing an exceptional and positive experience.
Responsibilities
- Deliver merchandise safely and efficiently to customers.
- Set up merchandise, conduct pre-inspections, and verify delivery accuracy.
- Maintain and clean delivery vehicles for a professional appearance.
- Handle trucks and equipment properly to prevent damage and ensure staff safety.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Strong interpersonal skills and dedication to customer service.
- Ability to work independently, provide direction, and maintain records accurately.
- Flexibility to work day-shift schedules in a fast-paced environment.
- Pass DOT requirements, criminal background check, and drug screening.
