Job Description
Slumberland Furniture is looking for a Home Delivery Driver to join their team. As a Home Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer experiences by ensuring safe and accurate delivery and set-up of merchandise.
Responsibilities
- Deliver merchandise in a safe and efficient manner.
- Establish customer greeting, conduct pre-inspection, set up merchandise, and verify delivery accuracy.
- Perform daily vehicle maintenance and maintain clean delivery vehicles.
- Ensure proper handling and maintenance of trucks and equipment to prevent injury or damage.
Requirements
- Must be 21+ years old.
- Strong work ethic, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to provide direction and maintain accurate records.
- Flexibility to work day-shift schedules in a fast-paced environment.
- Pass DOT requirements, criminal background check, and drug screening.
