Responsibilities

• Inspect a wide range of construction projects to verify compliance with regulations and contract specifications.
• Review construction drawings and plans to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards.
• Attend meetings, resolve issues, and make recommendations for necessary changes.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports, maintain records, and oversee testing processes.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders and provide timely responses to inquiries.
• Conduct materials testing and respond to citizen complaints when necessary.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of construction inspection experience.
• Knowledge of civil construction methods and regulations.
• Certifications such as KDOT CITT and ACI are preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in outdoor environments and travel as needed.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; a valid driver's license is required.
