Director of Finance

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced finance professional to fill the position of Director of Finance at Chaminade Resort. As a key leader in our organization, you will oversee all financial aspects of our hotel operations, working closely with the Executive Team, department managers, and external stakeholders to ensure financial objectives are met.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manage cash flow and communicate related issues to management.
• Coordinate the completion of forecasts and budgets with the Executive Team and department managers.
• Analyze financial data to assist management in maintaining financial objectives.
• Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Establish and audit internal financial controls.
• Prepare financial reports in accordance with company requirements.
• Provide insights on revenue generation, cost control, and profitability enhancement.
• Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives.
• Maintain relationships with auditors, banks, and financial institutions.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive finance or accounting experience in the hospitality industry.
• Bachelor's or Graduate degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance (MBA preferred).
• Ability to analyze complex information and make strategic decisions.
• Strong financial acumen with knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
