We are hiring an Electrical Engineer III to join the Toyo Tires NA team at our cutting-edge manufacturing plant in White, Georgia. As a leading international tire manufacturing company, we are seeking a dynamic individual with a passion for innovation, quality, and performance to design, test, install, and maintain electronic equipment and machinery. This role requires applying principles and techniques of electrical engineering to achieve manufacturing and operational goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design, test, install, and maintain large-scale electronic equipment or machinery.
  • Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and engineers to ensure efficient design and maintenance of electrical systems.
  • Research, analyze, and design products or systems for optimal functionality.
  • Direct engineering personnel in fabrication, installation, and testing activities.
  • Coordinate operation, maintenance, and repair activities to maximize equipment utilization.

Technical Skills Required

  • Troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Design and modify electrical controls and systems for improved reliability and productivity.
  • Competency in programming and troubleshooting motion controllers, preferably Mitsubishi PLC's.
  • Calibration of electrical systems and components.
  • Read, interpret, troubleshoot, and modify complex PLC and Servo programs.
  • Communicate effectively and manage projects from concept to implementation.
  • Interface with vendors and contractors for cost-effective and timely procurement.
