Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Community Bank President/Ag Lender to join Bank Iowa Corporation in Newton. In this role, you will lead the generation of quality Ag and Commercial loans, represent the bank in the community, and manage a team of Relationship Managers and Loan Assistants. Your responsibilities will include managing an agriculture and commercial loan portfolio, building strong client relationships, and actively participating in community activities to establish Bank Iowa as a center of influence.
Responsibilities
- Lead the bank's values, culture, and strategic direction.
- Drive community bank loan and deposit growth goals.
- Participate in civic and community activities to enhance the bank's visibility.
- Manage an agriculture and commercial loan portfolio while fostering client relationships in the Southeast Iowa Region.
- Approve loans within specified limits and refer complex applications to management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Ag Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience as an Ag & Commercial Loan Officer.
- Strong agriculture background and supervisory experience.
- Leadership, credit analysis, underwriting, or sales experience preferred.
