Description
We are looking for a dedicated Cashier to join our team at the Lake Pleasant Store. As a Cashier, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service, promoting sales, and maintaining a welcoming store environment for Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona (GCNA) and its affiliates.
Starting Pay: $14.50 per Hour
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Point of Sale (POS) duties and handle all forms of payments.
- Solicit cash donations from customers during transactions.
- Pricing goods accurately based on type and markings.
- Assist with closing procedures as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor.
- Stock merchandise according to assigned areas.
- Utilize store systems for announcements and communication.
- Uphold Goodwill's Core Values in all interactions.
- Ensure a safe shopping environment for customers.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Math proficiency is preferred.
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen.
- Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
