Job Description: Capture Manager
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Capture Manager to join our team at Middle River Aerostructure Systems in Baltimore, MD. As part of our aerospace and defense business, you will be responsible for leading capture-related activities to secure new contracts and drive business growth.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic capture campaigns in line with business goals and strategies.
- Develop capture strategies and solutions for pursuing opportunities, including competitive assessments and pricing strategies.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful capture and proposal activities.
- Act as the primary customer contact for proposal activities and lead customer assessments.
- Manage project risks and opportunities and conduct after-action reviews for process improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in STEM or Business Management with 5 years of Business Development or Capture Management experience.
- Knowledge of Commercial and USG contracts and competitive pricing strategies.
- Ability to travel (< 40%) and obtain USG Security Clearance.
Desired Characteristics:
- Master's degree in STEM or Business Administration with proven leadership skills.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and negotiation abilities.
- Domain expertise in Aerostructures and experience with DoD customers.
