Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated Account Manager to join our team at Hirose Electric USA. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing sales activities within a specific business segment to drive revenue growth and implement strategic directives. Your role will involve identifying and building relationships with key accounts, developing sales strategies, delivering product presentations, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and cultivate relationships with targeted accounts.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies for key accounts, focusing on achieving successful design wins.
  • Create and deliver customized product presentations, leveraging 2D and 3D modeling when necessary.
  • Implement a strategic account plan to maximize revenue, penetration, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address customer needs and drive product development initiatives.
  • Ensure sales pipeline growth and conversion of key projects.
  • Lead a Customer focus team and mentor new Account Managers.

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree in Business or a Technical field.
  • 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in the electronic component industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge to understand customer requirements and provide solutions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% to customer locations.
  • Self-motivated with excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
