Job Description
Are you a compassionate nurse seeking a rewarding opportunity to provide one-on-one care to patients in the home health setting? ChristianaCare is looking for a Private Duty Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will care for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients by administering medications, providing tube feedings, assisting with tracheostomy maintenance, ventilator support, and more.
Responsibilities
- Deliver expert care to medically fragile pediatric and adult patients.
- Coordinate care with families, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
- Build positive relationships through compassionate and courteous service.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Work a minimum of two weekend shifts per month.
Requirements
- DE LPN or RN license with at least 1 year of healthcare experience.
- Attend a two-week orientation in our Camden office followed by patient field training.
- Previous home health or Long Term Care experience is advantageous.
- Preferably, experience with tracheostomy and ventilator care.
