Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Senior Development Officer to join Enterprise Community Partners' team. In this role reporting to the Senior Director, Development, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of funders and devising strategies to cultivate, solicit, and steward various types of funders. Your work will contribute to organization-wide fundraising goals and support Enterprise's mission to make affordable housing a reality for all.
Responsibilities
- Immerse yourself in Enterprise’s mission and programs to inform fundraising strategies.
- Collaborate with program staff to develop compelling case statements for funders.
- Build relationships across departments to create customized fundraising strategies.
- Cultivate relationships with local, regional, and national funders; organize meetings and events.
- Write and submit funding proposals, reports, and stewardship documents.
- Create customized proposals and impact reports in collaboration with the Communications team.
- Maintain accurate funder records in Salesforce CRM.
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of corporate and foundation fundraising experience.
- Track record of securing 6-figure gifts.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Strong writing and editing skills; proficiency in English grammar.
- Basic design skills for collateral materials.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
- Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time.
