Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Vocational Instruction Project Community Services Inc. As an LPN, you will work under the guidance of the Nurse Manager to provide high-quality nursing care to our clients, ensuring they receive the best possible care. Your role will involve medication administration, client care, documentation, and maintaining professional relationships with clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Promote professionalism, cooperation, and dignity in client interactions.
• Adhere to medication administration policies and procedures.
• Observe and report any signs of intoxication or medication side effects promptly.
• Maintain accurate medication records and client medical documentation.
• Collaborate with the registered professional nurse to deliver quality care.
• Participate in training, education, and professional development activities.

Requirements

• Current NYS LPN License and Infection Control Certificate.
• Minimum one year of LPN experience, preferably in substance abuse treatment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with diverse populations.
• Proficiency in the English language and computer skills.
