Job Description
We are looking for an Environmental Technician to join our team at Goucher College. This position involves maintaining the cleanliness of college buildings under the supervision of the Associate Director and Environmental Services Supervisors. Responsibilities include performing various cleaning tasks, assisting with work assignments, and ensuring standards are met.
Essential Job Functions
- Vacuum, spot clean, and dust various surfaces.
- Sweep, mop, and sanitize restrooms and public areas.
- Collect and dispose of trash and recyclable materials.
- Assist with snow removal and maintenance issue reporting.
Education and Experience
- Combination of training and experience in custodial cleaning.
- High school diploma preferred.
- Three years of custodial experience required.
- Floor care training is a plus.
Salary
The starting salary for this position is $15.27 per hour.
