Job Description
We are excited to announce a full-time opportunity for a Radiology Technologist to join our team at Corewell Health. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in various areas of general radiology, ensuring high-quality images are obtained for interpretation. You will follow radiation protection principles, deliver excellent patient care, and uphold Corewell Health's commitment to Patient and Family Centered Care.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality diagnostic exams adhering to patient identification and physician orders.
- Acquire accurate patient history and monitor patient safety during procedures.
- Utilize diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently and maintain equipment standards.
- Contribute to department operations, assist colleagues, and ensure compliance with quality assurance.
- Provide patient/family education, maintain cleanliness in exam rooms, and demonstrate competency in all assigned areas.
Requirements
- Graduate of a JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 6 months of hire.
- Current Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers.
- Demonstrated ability to perform essential duties efficiently, with adaptability and strong clinical skills.
