Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Radiology Technologist to join our team at Corewell Health on a full-time basis during afternoons. As a Radiology Technologist, you will perform accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in various areas of general radiology, ensuring the best possible images for interpretation. You will be responsible for patient safety, applying radiation protection principles, and maintaining compliance with regulations. Responsibilities
- Perform quality diagnostic exams following patient verification and physician orders.
- Acquire accurate patient history and document in medical records.
- Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety.
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently and follow policies for quality control.
- Provide procedural information and education to patients and families.
Requirements
- Graduate of a JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- Must be registered within 6 months of hire date.
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers.
- Ability to perform essential duties efficiently and with good clinical skills.
