Salary Range: $86,400 - $107,900/year
Position Summary
The Engineer III (EIII) at EarthScope Consortium works independently to provide oversight and leadership for technical geophysical projects involving multiple stakeholders and technologies. This position involves implementing and managing field operations at various locations nationally and internationally. The EIII collaborates with engineers to devise innovative solutions, ensuring alignment with best practices and organizational standards.
Responsibilities
- Act as technical lead on geophysical projects with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strategize and execute project scopes, including logistics, installation, and maintenance.
- Independently solve complex technical issues and integrate geophysical technologies.
- Contribute to system design and testing, preparing detailed documentation.
- Develop project budgets, provide recommendations, and foster alliances across departments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or related field.
- 7 years of experience (Bachelor's) or 4 years of experience (Master's) with geophysical sensors.
- Proficiency in data processing, programming, and leading field teams.
