Job Description
We are looking for a motivated Sales Engineer to join our team at R&M Materials Handling Inc in Springfield, OH. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for preparing commercial and technical proposals for overhead material handling equipment, working closely with distributors to analyze application requirements, design solutions, and communicate effectively to deliver outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare proposals for material handling equipment solutions across various industrial environments.
- Design and create CAD drawings for proposed systems, ensuring technical accuracy and completeness.
- Communicate with distributors to understand and address technical and commercial needs.
- Enter and manage equipment orders in the MRP system, ensuring accurate product delivery.
- Resolve product warranty issues, identify spare parts, and provide technical support and training to distributors as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- 2-3 years of experience in application or sales engineering within an industrial setting.
- Strong PC skills and excellent communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
