Project Manager- Environmental (Norfolk, VA)

Job Description

HEPACO Inc, a leading environmental and emergency services company in the Eastern United States, is looking for a talented Environmental Services / ER Project Manager to join their growing Norfolk, VA branch. In this role, you will be responsible for organizing, leading, and completing projects while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality. The Project Manager will play a key role in project bidding, contracting, and business development activities, working closely with the Branch Manager and Territory Account Manager.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of project management, including planning, contract compliance, quality control, project accounting, and resource management.
• Participate in project bidding and contracting, ensuring accuracy and quality in contract terms.
• Collaborate with management in business development efforts and adhere to company policies.
• Lead, engage, and mentor team members, ensuring safe operation of vehicles and equipment.
• Provide project cost reporting, revenue reporting, and uphold company values.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Geology, or related field, with at least five years of experience in project management.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite.
• Collaborative spirit and effective communication skills.
• Prior experience with Hyland OnBase and relevant certifications a plus.
