Summary
JOB SUMMARY: The RN provides nursing care to patients in compliance with the Maryland Nurse Practice Act, Standards of Practice, and organizational protocols. Collaborates with staff, physicians, and other disciplines to provide quality care delivery. Maintains clinical knowledge and skills competency and ensures a safe patient care environment.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current RN licensure with Maryland Board of Nursing or Compact State.
- Minimum 2 years Nursing Experience in Emergency Services or 3-5 years of other acute care experience preferred.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Hazmat certifications.
- Certification in Emergency Nursing preferred.
- Completion of orientation according to policy/procedures.
Unit Details
The new Emergency Department at Grace Medical Center features state-of-the-art design and amenities for emergency care. Includes private treatment rooms, a behavioral health treatment pod, and a CT Scanner for early diagnosis.
