Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Anderson County Detention Center in Anderson, SC. As part of GENESYS Health Alliance, you will play a crucial role in providing quality healthcare to detainees in a correctional setting.
Responsibilities
- Administer routine and emergency medical care to detainees.
- Treat acute and chronic illnesses and injuries.
- Provide patient treatments and medication administration as ordered by medical providers.
- Carry out nursing care plans and ensure patient safety and security.
- Complete initial and ongoing screenings of detained individuals.
Requirements
- Graduation from a nationally accredited licensed practical nursing program.
- Current LPN licensure in the state of employment, or ability to obtain license.
- Current Basic Life Support certification.
- Willingness to work night shifts.
