AmplifyBio, LLC is seeking a highly motivated Laboratory Animal Resources Technician to join our dynamic team. As a Laboratory Animal Research Technician, you will work in state-of-the-art facilities supporting our clients' preclinical research programs. This role involves performing various laboratory procedures with precision, ensuring compliance, and contributing to the advancement of cutting-edge therapies.

Responsibilities

• Perform animal husbandry, data collection, and test article administration with accuracy.
• Adhere to SOPs, regulations, and health and safety standards.
• Record and review data, maintain laboratory equipment, and conduct experimental procedures.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate research procedures and results effectively.
• Identify deviations, report animal welfare concerns, and participate in corrective actions.
• Provide training to less experienced staff and engage in cross-training activities.

Requirements

• Associate degree in biology, chemistry, RVT, or related field, or relevant experience.
• Demonstrated attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a team setting.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
• Willingness to comply with safety measures, including immunizations and respiratory protection.
• Desired skills include a bachelor's degree, experience in animal care, handling, medication administration, and surgery assistance.
