Job Description
Position Title: Facilities Equipment Engineer

Middle River Aerostructure Systems is a world-leading manufacturer of thrust reversers, engine nacelle components, and specialized aerostructures. Located near Baltimore, MRAS has a 1.7-million sq. ft. facility on 180 acres, designing civil and military aircraft for over 90 years.
Role Summary Purpose:
Manage industrial equipment availability through predictive and preventative measures. Maintain critical spares for equipment uptime. Coordinate equipment servicing strategies with maintenance and project engineers.
Responsibilities
- Update equipment listings to maximize uptime.
- Secure critical spares to support production. Create and maintain complex Excel files.
- Maintain appropriate spares, guide purchasing, and track open orders.
- Monitor and assist in maintenance and calibration tasks.
- Establish equipment uptime health board for performance tracking.
- Assist in project and maintenance budgets.
- Identify cost savings opportunities at the facility.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Strong MS Excel skills with VBA scripting.
- Basic understanding of CNC and Robotic equipment.
- Ability to read OEM drawings and Electrical Schematics.
Desired Characteristics
- Experience in Aerospace Assembly, Machine Shop, or Composites Manufacturing.
- Mechanical and Electrical Drawing interpretation.
- Knowledge of Continuous Improvement tools.
- Experience with CAD design and Additive Manufacturing.
- Inventory management and Facility Mechanical/Electrical Systems knowledge.
