Electrician - Journeyperson

Job Description

We are currently seeking individuals to join our hard-working, dedicated team as a Journeyperson/Electrician at George J Hayden Inc. Join Hayden Power Group, a family-owned electrical contractor, and be part of a team that provides cutting-edge electrical solutions and values professional growth.

Typical Work Schedule

Dayshift, Monday through Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm. Some weekends and nights may be required.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary ranges from $23.00 - $30.00 per hour based on qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, vision insurance, 401K with matching contribution, vacation time, and yearly bonus potential.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installations in commercial, industrial, and residential settings.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems.
• Mentor apprentices and helpers.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas.

Requirements

• Journeyperson certificate or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with NEC, NFPA70E, and testing devices.
• Physical capability for demanding tasks and ability to work at heights.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable personal transportation.

Working Conditions

Requires lifting, standing, bending, and working in various environments. Safety gear and tools are necessary. This is a safety-sensitive position.

Special Requirements

Travel may be required. Background checks, screenings, and adherence to safety protocols are essential.

Compensation

$47,000 - $62,000 yearly salary.
