Credit Analyst

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Credit Analyst to join Fresno First Bank, an innovative banking institution based in Fresno, CA. As a Credit Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in assessing credit risks, analyzing financial data, and providing essential support to our commercial loan underwriters and loan officers.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze credit information on both current and potential borrowers.
• Conduct financial statement analysis to assess credit and operations risks.
• Assist in problem asset reports and annual reviews of credit portfolios.
• Monitor loan compliance, contact delinquent accounts, and conduct industry peer comparisons.
• Support loan officers in processing approved loans and managing loan portfolios.
• Represent the bank in community functions to enhance the bank's image and business development.
• Maintain compliance with banking regulations and uphold the bank's policies and values.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Knowledge of financial statement and tax return analysis.
• Familiarity with commercial, construction, real estate, and consumer loan processing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Valid California driver's license and vehicle with insurance coverage (if required).

Compensation

$23-38 per hour.
