Community-Based Therapist
About the Position:
A clinical adaptation of Multi-Systemic Therapy, MST-EA, provides intensive individual treatment for transition age youth with a history of criminal involvement and behavioral health challenges. Therapists work in the community, engaging with clients at homes, schools, and neighborhoods. Responsibilities include assessments, treatment, and collaboration with families and community agency staff.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and mental status exams
- Develop treatment plans
- Engage clients' social networks in treatment
- Facilitate home- and community-based treatment
- Ensure client safety and progress
- Maintain documentation and communication
- Participate in trainings and supervision
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Behavioral Health or related field
- License required (LMSW, LCSW, etc.)
- Experience with adolescents, CBT, and related therapies
- High energy, interpersonal skills, and valid driver's license
Employment: Full-time
Location: In-home or in-community clinical services across boroughs
Salary: $60,000-65,000
