Minds Matter, LLC is seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team. As part of our organization, you will play a crucial role in helping individuals who have experienced a brain injury regain independence in their everyday lives. You will work closely with consumers, therapists, and other professionals to provide comprehensive care and support.

Responsibilities

• Implementing Minds Matter, LLC's principles in service delivery.
• Assisting individuals in identifying needs and developing compensation techniques.
• Contributing to evaluations and therapy strategies.
• Collaborating with consumers and professionals to achieve goals.
• Documenting sessions and maintaining professional relationships.

Qualifications

• Ability to teach skills to individuals with disabilities.
• High degree of sensitivity and professionalism.
• Strong time management and communication skills.
• Basic to moderate technology proficiency.

Education and Experience

• Completion of an Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• State licensure in Kansas.
• Experience working with people with disabilities preferred.

Requirements

• Ability to lift for consumers with physical needs.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic iPad proficiency and reliable transportation.
