Job Description
Are you passionate about working with children and families? We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals in New York City who want to empower youth and families by creating strength-based behavior change that will endure long after treatment ends.
You will receive ongoing training in the Multisystemic Therapy (MST) model while working with families, youth, their communities, and other key members of their ecology to implement MST as designed. MST therapists go above and beyond to address the needs of adolescents returning from residential placement for mental health, trauma, and substance abuse. You will empower families to address challenging behaviors and help youth make transformative changes in their lives.

Salary
$60,568-$68,068 (depending on experience)
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide direct clinical treatment following MST principles.
- Conduct thorough client and family assessments.
- Engage with a diverse client community.
- Collaborate with caregivers, family members, and community agencies for change-oriented treatment.
- Receive regular training and supervision to enhance clinical skills in the MST model.
- Ensure 24/7 client support along with fellow clinicians.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in clinical or counseling psychology, social work, or related field.
- Proficiency in Spanish.
- Willingness to travel across NYC.
Preferred Experience
- Direct use of pragmatic family therapies.
- Experience in cognitive-behavioral therapy with children and adults.
- Knowledge of behaviorally-based couples therapy.
- Implementation of interventions in youth's natural ecology.
- Collaboration with community agencies.
- Previous work providing in-home or community-based therapy.
