2nd Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 2nd Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our dynamic team at Aldi. As a vital part of our warehouse operations, you will play a crucial role in receiving, stocking, and preparing merchandise for shipment to our stores. The position offers a competitive starting wage of $23.00 per hour for a full-time role, averaging 30-35 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members.
• Contribute feedback for process improvement to warehouse management.
• Inspect product quality and address safety and sanitation concerns.
• Operate equipment safely and report any issues to management.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds on pallets at various heights.
• Perform physical tasks like moving merchandise, bending, reaching, and carrying.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely and efficiently.
