Job Description
The Middlesex Corporation is currently seeking a Foreman - Civil to be responsible for field planning and production of roadway-related construction projects under the direction of the Superintendent. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring adherence to safety policies, maintaining productivity, and meeting project deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Comply with and promote safety policies to ensure a safe work environment.
- Organize and plan work in coordination with the Superintendent.
- Oversee labor and equipment time sheets and daily reports.
- Monitor crew productivity and enforce quality control and safety policies.
- Manage project construction process to ensure timely completion.
- Conduct daily huddles, stretching exercises, and provide job hazard analysis.
- Develop material handling plan and ensure proper documentation of deliveries.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a foreman in roadway construction.
- Knowledge of grades calculation, construction equipment, and forming systems.
- Valid driver's license and OSHA 10 certification.
