Job Description
Join Orica as a CDL Driver Class B based in Macon, NC. This full-time position offers a competitive salary and benefits package. At Orica, you will be responsible for Mobile Mixing Unit Driving/Operation, equipment maintenance, and ensuring safe and environmentally conscious provision of blasting products and services to customers. You will work Monday to Friday, with local driving and early morning starts, returning home every night.
Responsibilities
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Operate emulsion tanker truck and box trucks.
- Adhere to safety procedures and regulations.
- Report incidents and participate in safety meetings.
Requirements
- Minimum one year driving/handling experience.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations.
- Teamwork and communication skills.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- CDL Class B required, Class A a plus.
- Tanker and Hazmat endorsements preferred.
