2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a 2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join the team at Aldi. This full-time position offers an average of 30-35 hours per week with a starting wage of $23.00 per hour. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will play a crucial role in selecting, receiving, relocating, sorting, and loading merchandise to fulfill orders efficiently and maintain warehouse standards.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Participate in inventory counts and maintain warehouse cleanliness.
• Collaborate effectively with peers and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality and safety, addressing issues as needed.
• Operate equipment following safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work collaboratively and demonstrate a positive attitude.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
• Work in varying temperatures and environments.
