1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As part of our warehouse operations, you will play a key role in efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, preparing shipments, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately and efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain warehouse appearance and safety standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input for process improvement and assist in achieving operational goals.
• Inspect product quality and report safety concerns.
• Operate equipment safely and follow ergonomic procedures.

Job Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Demonstrate conscientious behavior, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and work independently or in a team.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and move products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial equipment.
• Work in varying temperatures and physically demanding environments.
