1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As part of the warehouse staff, you will play a crucial role in efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, and ensuring the warehouse's cleanliness and safety.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipments.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and maintain warehouse appearance standards.
• Collaborate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide feedback to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality, safety, and sanitation.
• Operate equipment safely and report issues to management.
• Follow warehouse ergonomic and safety guidelines.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or in a team setting.
• Basic arithmetic skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and operate powered industrial equipment.
