1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are hiring a Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join Aldi. As a package handler, you will be responsible for efficiently selecting and receiving incoming stock, relocating merchandise, preparing shipments, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with the warehouse team.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Prepare shipments and unload incoming deliveries.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality and report any issues to management.
• Operate equipment safely and follow ergonomic procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to collaborate with the team and adhere to company policies.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Physical ability to lift and move items up to 45 pounds.
• Experience operating powered industrial equipment is a plus.
