Job Description
Join our team at ALDI as a Full-Time Store Associate. In this role, you'll be responsible for a variety of tasks including merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring the store is clean and well-maintained. By providing exceptional customer service and working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you'll play a key role in enhancing the shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide excellent customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
- Conduct store inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy
- Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses
- Comply with company policies and procedures while ensuring security and confidentiality
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficiently operate a cash register
- Safely operate equipment and perform general cleaning duties
- Interpret and apply company policies and procedures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Work well independently and within a team environment
- Stay organized and detail-oriented, follow instructions, and multitask efficiently
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail work experience preferred
