Full-Time Store Associate ($16.00 per hour)
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for various in-store operations including merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and ensuring a clean shopping environment. By working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will play a key role in enhancing the overall customer shopping experience through exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) required for the role.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by assisting shoppers and providing product information.
- Communicate effectively with team members and the store management team.
- Participate in inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Follow cash handling policies and company procedures to ensure security and minimize losses.
- Adhere to all established company policies and procedures.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
To qualify for this position, you must be 18 years or older with the ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service. Operating a cash register accurately, handling equipment safely, and maintaining a clean store environment are essential requirements. Excellent communication skills, ability to work independently and in a team, and adherence to company policies are crucial for success.
Education and Experience
While a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, prior work experience in a retail setting is advantageous. A combination of education and experience equivalent to the required knowledge will be considered.
